  1. I like your characters! You can really feel the weight in the spaceman's suit, and they both look like fun characters. I think you might want to finish up the alien's other arm, though, but that's your secondary character and it's as crucial. I like your emotion sheet but I still think you can push your expressions. You may want to try to tie up some of the proportions as well--his head in the slouching pose is shrunken down a bit, although I love the way you're breaking your character down into shapes. Lastly I would recommend cleaning up the pages a bit more, I know it can be hard to do so when you're working with traditional media, but you can go into Curves or Levels in the Adjustments panel and use the white eye dropper to clean up the smudgy areas in your drawings. So far looking good, though, your characters are looking very nice and interesting!

  2. Hi Katie! I like how you are fleshing your characters a bit more on this round. I think Amanda made a lot of good points to think about. I would just like to make a comment about how to use the lines on his suit to follow the shape of his form, especially the lower torso portion. I feel like the curve of his belt could use a bit more consistency to follow the roundness of his belly. However, the seams running down the middle of his front seem fine, it's just the seam in back pose that seems unsure. It'd be nice to see the curve/follow of the form in his boots as well.
